Congratulations, Michael Ewing!

Congratulations to Michael Ewing (McDowell High School, Erie, PA) for being selected to receive a $2,500 TRADESTRONG-Layton Scholarship to pursue Welding at WyoTech!

Michael shared the following personal statement with us:

"Dear TRADESTRONG & Layton Construction,

I am honored to receive this $2,500 scholarship as I pursue a career in welding. Welding offers the opportunity to combine skill, precision, and hard work to create and repair structures that are essential to our communities. I am committed to developing my craft, continuing my education, and building a successful career in the skilled trades.

This scholarship will help ease the financial burden of college and allow me to focus on gaining the knowledge and hands-on experience needed to become a highly skilled welder. I am grateful for this investment in my future and look forward to making a positive impact through my work.
